A good Design Specification should include information that you learned about the task/problem from your research. It is a list of requirements that your design ideas must meet plus a list of constraints that you have. It is the check list that you need to use when you start to make your design ideas. After your research you can develop a Design Specification.
Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.
For my design cycle, I am going to make a flipbook in which the design cycle is us used to solve a problem. Along the way it will give definitions and examples for each step of the process to teach a sixth grader about the design cycle.
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
The requirements for this assignment is a sixth grader, knowledge towards the subject, time, concentration, determination, etc.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
The limitations for this project is the time limit and uncertainty that the sixth grader will understand 100%.
13. How will you "test" your presentation?
I will "test" my experiment by showing the sixth grader the project then I will give them a survey that has 10 test questions about the design cycle. I could test my product if it was successful or not by analyzing the students surveys. I will be successful if they are able to answer 7 out of the 10 corrections on their survey.

• Will be a minimum of 2 minutes long
• About 5 pages long on Storybook
• Not that distracting from the point
• Made by Flip Book program online
• Possible to transfer onto a pen drive
• Be able to use while offline
• Possible to save and copy
• Must be able to be created in given time
